You have been programming Arduino bootloader in Atmega8-16 or 168 and building your own boards. Now you have opportunity to build your innovative circuits using high quality Lead free double sided PCB which can be expanded using standard prototyping board. This is the lowest cost board available to help hobbyist with a high quality platform.
This is a completely re-designed board by an experienced Engineer ( high quality mindset is visible in board specifications). Further use of through-hole components and socketed IC make repairs easy and thus save environment. Our assembly process is also environment friendly using minimal solvents and aerosols. We use RS232 over USB as we feel RS232 is still one of the most important mode of communication in today's system and must be available on prototyping boards. An off the shelf RS232 to Ethernet converter can easily put your project on the network and similarly an RS232 can easily connect your project to GSM modem. We however offer a TTL Serial interface to use low cost USB to TTL serial converter.
These boards do not require soldering hence are suitable for students to group together and learn AVR microcontrollers supported by their teacher. You can also write to us for any technical questions.
Alternatively you can link all of them together using TWI Interface (page 163 of Atmega8-16 datasheet) in master / slave configuration to form a powerful parallel ( processing ) system. Arduino IDE has ready examples of two wire interface which can be setup and tested in minutes.

9) The extension pins are standard and with 2.54mm spacing. Pins not compatible with Arduino shields.

11) Optimally placed Tx & Rx LEDs. All comm activities can be seen even with prototyping board mounted.
12) Unobstructed reset switch.
13) The Board can power the programming device or vice-versa.
14) Can interface with standard double sided prototyping board having 2.54mm pitch. Do not have to bend pins.
15) Four mounting holes for stable mounting.
16) Can also be programmed by STK500 / AVR ISP (6 pin header). To use Avr Studio4 with suitable programmer.
Testing
These boards are checked for physical defects.
RoHS
Our PCB is Lead(Pb) free and many components like resistors, capacitors, ICs are RoHS. We use RoHS compliant products where ever posssible. However we are unable to mark our product RoHS compliant as we are unable to get RoHS certificate from some suppliers of connectors, switches etc. We are working to make our product RoHS.
